Who we are

A Calgary firm for new generation projects.

808 Power develops projects. The work sits upstream of construction: choosing sites, assembling the right parties, moving through permits, and shaping a commercial structure a project can live with.

We concentrate on three technologies because that is the work this firm is set up to do. Operating assets, if they are built, will be listed with confirmed names and figures. Until then the pipeline shows slots, not a fleet.

What we do

Four parts of the same development.

Each part is published as method. Status belongs on a confirmed project, not in a slogan.

  1. 01

    Development

We take a concept through site screening, studies and a development plan. Public pages carry a project only when the scope is confirmed.

  2. 02

    Partnerships

Host communities, Indigenous nations, offtakers, suppliers and capital partners each have a role. Those conversations start while the plan can still move.

  3. 03

    Permitting and milestones

Applications, environmental work and later construction milestones are tracked as a sequence. The stage of any project is stated only when it is confirmed.

  4. 04

    Commercial structuring

Power purchase terms, ownership and financing have to fit the project. We shape that structure with counterparties. Returns and tariffs are not quoted on this site.

Portfolio

Three development tracks.

The stage line is our framework. No project is placed on it until the stage is confirmed. Capacity reads [TBD – MW] until a figure is approved.

  • Natural gas

Dispatchable generation developed alongside other resources. 808 Power's gas work stays in the pipeline view until a project is named.

    Capacity [TBD – MW]

  • Renewables

Wind and solar development, including the studies a site needs before it is a project. No renewable fleet is claimed here.

    Capacity [TBD – MW]

  • Battery storage

Storage that can shift energy across the day. Chemistry, duration and site stay unpublished until a project is confirmed.

Sustainability and communities

Development that can sit with its neighbours.

Environmental review, community notice and Indigenous engagement are part of how a project is developed. This site states the standard. It does not claim a record.

  • Environment

Projects of this kind go through environmental review. Assessment status will be published on the project card once a project is public. This site does not state emissions, land area or water use.

  • Communities

People who live near a site should hear about it in plain language, early enough that the conversation can change the plan. Any community agreement will be described only after it is signed.

  • Indigenous relationships

We will name nations, and the status of engagement, only with their agreement and when the facts are settled. Until then this page states the standard the firm is setting, not a record of meetings.

Counterparties

Commercial conversations, shared directly.

808 Power is privately held through 808 Collective Ltd. Project facts are published when they are confirmed. Materials for a commercial discussion are shared on request.

  • Corporate overview

    [TBD – document]

A short description of the firm for counterparties. It is not published on this site yet.

  • Development approach

    [TBD – document]

How a project moves from screening to a commercial structure.

  • Community engagement outline

    [TBD – document]

The sequence we use with neighbours and Indigenous nations.
